Learn how to make awesome handmade Valentines decorations on a budget. You can buy all the supplies you need at your local dollar store! I was walking through the store about a week ago with my kids and my 9-year-old daughter Elli grabbed my arm and gasped, “They are already selling Valentine’s Day stuff?!?!?” Which she followed up quickly by stating, “don’t they know we haven’t even taken down our Christmas stuff?”
Yes, it’s true….it takes us forever to take down our Christmas decor. Which is weird because the day after Christmas, I’m ready to take everything down and be done with it…..but I just can’t bring myself to do it. We did however, put the final box up in the attic 2 days ago and I finally dusted my hands of everything red, green, and pine scented.
And that made me realize — I don’t ever go all out for Valentine’s Day and I think that’s mostly because I used up my holiday decorating budget on the after Christmas mark-downs! Anyone else else love buying the day-after-the-holiday-75%-off-sales??? I can’t be the only one…haha! 🙂
Anyway, I do like decorating for holidays though, even if it’s just something small. So, I have been gathering up Inexpensive Valentine Decor Ideas that would be fun to add to a shelf, up on the mantel, or even in the center of a kitchen table. Maybe some of you have been thinking of doing the same? If so….here are some fun ideas I’ve gathered up!
